Our overall rating for effective at ESH Community has remained Good.
People’s needs were assessed appropriately, and care and treatment were planned and delivered in line with evidence‑based guidance. Staff worked collaboratively to support people through detoxification and rehabilitation, and care plans were regularly reviewed to reflect progress and changing needs. People admitted to the service had capacity to consent to their care and treatment.

People were supported to achieve positive outcomes, including improvements in physical and mental health and preparation for ongoing recovery after discharge. Staff had the appropriate skills and competence to deliver effective care, supported by regular supervision. Systems were in place to monitor outcomes and use this information to support continuous improvement.
