Providers of health care or treatment at events are reminded to check whether they need to register with CQC as the registration window is now open.

One year on from the publication of the Oliver McGowan Code of Practice, we reflect on progress. The code provides the detail of how we expect registered health and care providers to meet the requirement for training.

We developed new guidance following changes to the law introduced by the government. The changes to the regulations mean that providers delivering health care or treatment at an event must register with CQC if their service meets the criteria for the regulated activity of Treatment of disease, disorder or injury (TDDI).
