The service had sufficient, appropriately trained staff to provide safe and effective care. Staff demonstrated an understanding of safeguarding responsibilities, took appropriate action to protect people from harm, and managed incidents effectively.

Managers supported staff by ensuring mandatory and role-specific training was completed and that regular appraisals were undertaken to promote professional development and maintain high standards of care.

The environment, facilities and equipment were appropriate for the needs of people using the service. They were clean and maintained to a suitable standard. The service also fostered a positive learning culture, encouraging both staff and people using the service to raise concerns, report incidents and contribute to continuous improvement.
