Our view of the service
Cherished Moments is a private baby scan studio offering early pregnancy scans from 7 weeks, gender scans from 15 weeks, and 3D/4D high definition (HD) Live scans. The service also offers non-invasive prenatal (NIPT) testing and early gender blood tests.
The service is registered under H17 Ltd and operates Cherished Moments studios in Solihull and Stratford-upon-Avon.
The service was regulated to carry out ultrasound scans on adults and did not perform emergency scanning services.
We carried out a short notice, announced, risk-based assessment on 18 June 2026 as the service had not previously been inspected since being registered in October 2025. We inspected all 5 key questions: safe, effective, caring, responsive, and well-led and assessed all quality statements.
We spent time on site at the registered location and reviewed evidence submitted by the provider following the inspection. We interviewed the registered manager and spoke with staff. We reviewed people’s records, policies, audits, risk registers, and governance documentation. We also reviewed feedback from people who had used the service. During this assessment we rated the service good.
People's experience of this service
Women and their families consistently shared positive experiences of the service. Feedback gathered through patient surveys, online reviews, and conversations with people who had used the service was overwhelmingly favourable.
They described staff as caring, respectful, and professional, and valued being given time to ask questions. People also felt that the care provided was personalised and focused on their individual needs.
People told us staff were, “fantastic” and that everything was explained to them. We saw warm and welcoming staff and people told us they felt reassured.
