Well-led
Our overall rating of well led at ADHD Treatment Centre was rated as Good.
The service was consistently managed and well led. Leaders and the culture they created promoted high-quality, person-centred care.
Leaders had the skills, knowledge and experience to perform their roles and were visible and approachable to staff. Staff described a positive culture where they felt supported, valued and able to raise concerns. Leaders maintained oversight of service delivery through regular team meetings and multidisciplinary discussions, which supported communication, learning and shared decision-making.
Governance systems were in place to monitor quality, performance, risk and incidents, helping leaders oversee how the service was run.
Leaders oversaw effective collaboration with external healthcare professionals, helping to ensure prescribing arrangements remained safe and well-coordinated.
Leaders used feedback, audit findings and incident reviews to identify opportunities for improvement and make changes to the service. The use of digital systems supported oversight of patient care, caseloads and safety alerts as the service expanded.
Leaders recognised the need to strengthen governance arrangements and took steps to improve oversight and support the service’s ongoing development.
