Safe
Our overall rating of safe at ADHD Treatment Centre was good.
The service had systems and processes in place to keep people safe. Staff identified, reviewed and responded to clinical risks, including risks linked to medication titration, changes in mental health presentation and shared care arrangements. Risk assessments were completed as part of initial assessments and reviewed during treatment and monitoring. Staff followed safeguarding procedures and understood how to recognise and escalate concerns.
The environment was safe, clean and fit for purpose. Medicines were managed safely in line with national guidance, with structured monitoring of physical health, including blood pressure, pulse and weight. Incident reporting systems were in place, and staff described how learning from incidents was discussed through governance processes and multidisciplinary meetings.
