Responsive
Our overall rating of responsive at ADHD Treatment Centre was rated as Good.
The service was easy to access and responsive to people’s needs.
Care was planned and delivered in a way that responded to people’s individual preferences and circumstances. People were supported to access appropriate assessments, medication reviews and relevant external services, including therapies, activities where needed. The service worked with partner organisations, including GPs and other healthcare providers, to support timely access to care and discharge planning was personalised to support continuity of care through shared care arrangements, or referral to other mental health services when people’s needs changed or became more complex.
Information was provided in a way people could understand, and staff were responsive when people’s needs changed.
The service offered flexible appointment options, including remote and face-to-face appointments, which supported accessibility for people with different needs. People and relatives told us the booking process was easy and communication was clear.
The service provided information to support people’s care and treatment. People received information about the service, treatment options and how to give feedback or raise concerns. The service provided several ways to do this, including online, email and direct contact.
Leaders reviewed feedback and used this to make improvements to the service.
