Yeovil Renal Unit

This was the first inspection for this newly registered service. Our overall rating of well-led at Yeovil Renal Unit was good. 

There were clear and effective governance, management and accountability arrangements. Staff told us there was an open and supportive culture, and leaders were visible and approachable. Staff were given the opportunity to discuss role development through regular appraisals, and training was made available to staff including study days at the local NHS trust. The quality of care was monitored to ensure outcomes were optimised and risks were identified. Staff understood the service’s vision and values, and we saw evidence of innovations within the service.
