Yeovil Renal Unit

This was the first inspection for this newly registered service. Our overall rating of caring at Yeovil Renal Unit was good. 

Staff treated people with kindness, empathy and compassion. People told us staff were friendly and approachable, and we saw several caring interactions. 

Staff made every effort to take people’s wishes into account and respect their choices. The beds did not have privacy curtains, but portable screens were available to ensure people’s privacy and dignity were respected. 

The service supported staff with their wellbeing. Leaders ensured staff had regular breaks, and the staff area was comfortable and fit for purpose.
