Kindness, compassion and dignity
The 2026 National GP Patient Survey confirmed a positive patient experience. Overall, 84% of patients said healthcare professionals were good at listening to them, 81% felt they were treated with care and concern, and 94% reported having confidence and trust in the professionals they saw.
The 2025 provider staff survey, which achieved a 21% response rate across provider organisations, found that 95% of respondents felt patients were treated with kindness and compassion.
The leaders submitted the practice’s unverified Friends and Family Test (FFT) data for the period January to June 2026 which showed consistently high patient satisfaction. Of 593 responses, 85.5% rated their experience as good or very good, with very good accounting for over 71% of all feedback.
The service had arrangements to ensure patients’ privacy and dignity were protected. Curtains were available in consulting rooms to maintain privacy when required. Consultation and treatment room doors were kept closed during appointments so that conversations could not be overheard. Reception staff understood how to identify when patients wished to discuss sensitive matters or appeared distressed and were able to offer access to a private room to discuss their needs confidentially.
