Our view of the service

We carried out this assessment on 25 June 2026. This service was previously rated as good. Following this assessment, the rating remains good. We carried out this assessment to confirm whether the rating of good remains accurate. This report does not provide detailed information on areas where we found practice continues to meet a good standard. Instead, our findings focus on any areas where the service needs to improve or where we found exceptional practice.

The service continued to provide good-quality care and support. People’s needs were assessed and reviewed, and staff involved them in decisions about their care. People were supported to make choices, maintain their independence and receive care that reflected their individual needs and preferences. Staff understood their responsibilities and were supported through training, supervision and ongoing monitoring of their practice. A member of staff said, "I feel completely supported here."

People spoke positively about their experience of the service. One person told us the service was, “Very good. I like it here.” Governance systems supported managers to monitor the quality and safety of care, identify areas for improvement and maintain good standards.

People's experience of this service

People spoke positively about their experiences of the service and told us they were satisfied with the care and support they received. They described staff as helpful and said they were supported with everyday activities in ways that reflected their needs and preferences. One person told us, “They help me with shopping.”

People were involved in decisions about their care and were supported to make choices about their daily lives. Staff encouraged people to maintain their independence and provided assistance when this was needed. People felt comfortable speaking with staff and managers and were able to share their views about the support they received.
