Equity in experiences and outcomes
Staff and leaders actively listened to information about people who are most likely to experience inequality in experience or outcomes and tailored their care, support and treatment in response to this. Professionals told us staff accommodated visits made at short notice while still maintaining the routine of people. One healthcareprofessional said, “I have no doubt that residents are given the same opportunities to ensure they receive appropriate care.”
Staff had completed equality and diversity training which supported their understanding around human rights and equity of care for people.
