Our view of the service

Dates of the assessment were 6th June 2025 to 19th June 2025. The assessment was carried out remotely. Clarity Homecare Leeds Bradford is a domiciliary care provider. At the time of our assessment the service was supporting 9 people with regulated activity. The provider had a proactive and positive culture of safety, based on openness and honesty. Staff listened to concerns about safety and investigated and reported safety events. We found the service made sure there were enough qualified, skilled and experienced staff, who received effective support, supervision and development. The provider assessed and managed the risk of infection. Medicines and treatments were supported safely and met people’s needs, capacities and preferences. We found that effective systems were in place to assess and mitigate risks to people and keep them safe. The registered manager routinely monitored people’s care and treatment to continuously improve it. The staff treated people with kindness, empathy and compassion and respected their privacy and dignity. The provider had a shared vision, strategy and culture. This was based on transparency, equity, equality and human rights, diversity and inclusion, engagement, and understanding challenges and the needs of people and their communities.
