At this assessment the rating has remained good. This meant people were supported and treated with dignity and respect; and involved as partners in their care.

Independence, choice and control

The provider promoted people’s independence, so people knew their rights and had choice and control over their own care, treatment and wellbeing. People said staff supported them to improve their wellbeing and independence to enable them to return home. A person commented, “I can’t complain about anything, everything has been lovely. This is my last week here. I am much more better off than when I first came in. They have got me ready for going home.”

Workforce wellbeing and enablement

The provider cared about and promoted the wellbeing of their staff and supported and enabled staff to always deliver person-centred care. Staff feedback about wellbeing and support had improved from the last inspection. A staff member said, “It has definitely improved from the last time, staff morale has settled right down and management are 100% approachable.”
