The service delivered effective care and treatment through comprehensive assessment, evidence-based practice and strong multidisciplinary working. Staff completed personalised pre-scan assessments and safety checks, delivered care in line with recognised standards. They monitored quality through regular audits and quality assurance reviews, which showed an overall compliance score of 95%. Patients received clear information to support informed decisions about their care and treatment, and staff worked effectively with referrers, radiologists and partner organisations to support timely diagnosis and continuity of care. Staff were appropriately trained and competent, with mandatory training compliance of 99%, and the service maintained accreditations to support continuous improvement and high-quality care. All eligible staff had received an appraisal in the last year.
