Safeguarding
People told us they were happy with the service and felt safe. The registered manager had completed safeguarding training for adults and children. They had systems in place and understood the procedures to follow if they had any safeguarding concerns. The registered manager worked with the person they supported and healthcare partners to understand what being safe meant to them and the best way to achieve that.
Involving people to manage risks
The registered manager had systems to identify and assess potential risks. They worked in partnership with the person they supported, so that identified risks could be managed in the least restrictive way possible. The registered manager delivered safe and supportive care that met the person’s needs. They also helped enable the person to maintain their independence and continue doing the things that mattered to them.

Infection prevention and control
The registered manager had completed training for infection prevention and control and had systems to assess and manage the risk of infection. People told us the registered manager used personal protective equipment (PPE), such as gloves, masks and aprons.
