The registered manager made sure the person’s care and support was effective by assessing and reviewing their health, care, wellbeing and communication needs with them. The registered manager maintained clear records of the person’s needs, and these were reviewed regularly and updated if there were any changes required.

Consent to care and treatment
The person being supported fully understood their rights regarding consent. They confirmed the registered manager respected their rights, choices and decisions when they delivered care and support. We saw the registered manager had completed training for the Mental Capacity Act.
