Our view of the service
Date of assessment: 6 May 2025 to 28 May 2025. The service provided personal care to 1 person living in their own home. Staff knew about safeguarding and whistle blowing and told us they were confident to raise concerns. Sufficient trained staff were available to provide care and new staff were recruited safely. Medicines were administered safely and regular checks were completed so that issues could be identified and addressed quickly. The provider had quality assurance (QA) systems, which had been successful in identifying areas for improvement and learning lessons. There were systems to log and investigate incidents, accidents and safeguarding allegations. Staff had opportunities to share their suggestions and confirmed they received feedback. Staff also confirmed they felt valued, supported and listened to. The provider had plans to increase the number of people they supported.
People's experience of this service
People’s needs had been assessed and they had the opportunity to give their views about how they wanted their care provided. The information gathered was used to develop person-centred care plans. The provider has systems to keep people safe. A relative confirmed they were happy with the care their family member received.
