Caring
Staff treated people with kindness, empathy, and compassion, while upholding their privacy, dignity, and individuality. Care, support, and treatment were tailored to each person’s needs, preferences, and unique backgrounds, including their strengths, aspirations, culture, and protected characteristics. Staff promoted independence and empowered people to exercise choice and control over their care and wellbeing. A culture of wellbeing was evident, where staff were supported to deliver consistently person-centred care that reflected the values of compassion and respect.
