People's experience of this service
Patients and family members were positive about the staff treating them with warmth and kindness and providing effective care and treatment. They received a thorough pre-operative assessment. Patients were reassessed when they attended for their surgery and reported a comfortable stay and good aftercare, with access to a 24/7 helpline from a qualified clinician.
Records showed patients were given the tests they needed promptly, and they felt staff were on hand if they needed them for help or support. Patients said they did not feel anxious about raising concerns. Following surgery people could use an online mobile application to ask questions or share photos, videos and receive instant feedback from clinical staff.
