The provider promoted people’s independence, so people knew their rights and had choice and control over their own care, treatment and wellbeing. People and relatives, we spoke with were complimentary about the care they and their relative received. People told us that staff knew them well and respected their privacy. We observed staff would knock and wait before entering people’s rooms. Relatives told us, “They care about me as well. On our anniversary they bought me flowers, chocolates, and a card. They told me it was from [name of person] and all the staff came up to give them to us, it makes me feel very special.
