We have served a S29 warning notice on Precious Glimpse Roundhay on 28 May 2026, because we had concerns about delivery of safe care and treatment in line with best practice and national guidance, lack of risk assessments for pregnant people using the service, the environment and equipment, infection prevention and control, and lack of systems in place to actively assess, monitor and improve the quality and safety of services.

We found new breaches of regulation 12 and continuing breaches of regulation 12. Women were not always fully involved in decisions about their care and treatment. The service did not provide information which people could understand. People were not encouraged to give feedback. If they had concerns, the service did not demonstrate it took them seriously. The service did not fully understand the needs of people and their local communities, so access to care was flexible and supported choice. However, the service supported the registered manager’s wellbeing.
