People and their relatives liked the staff and felt they did a good job. A relative explained, “Both our carers are brilliant.” Another relative explained that staff absences and holidays were covered by familiar care staff so that the person being cared for always knew the staff caring for them.
The provider had suitable systems for recruiting and selecting staff. These included checks on their suitability, assessments of their skills and competencies, and a thorough induction.
