Care plans are regularly reviewed, updated, and included input from individuals and their representatives. Risk assessments identified issues, and the provider implemented suitable measures to mitigate risks effectively.

Consent was obtained from people appropriately before providing care and treatment. The staff working in the agency completed the Mental Capacity Act (2005) training.

Staff told us that they were able to view people’s needs assessments and care plans before they started providing care.

Assessments and care plans were person-centred, incorporating the views of individuals and their representatives. Care plans are regularly reviewed and updated.

People had risk assessments in place to identify potential issues and the provider implement suitable measures to mitigate risks effectively.

The registered manager and staff told us they had undertaken training about the Mental Capacity Act and understood their responsibilities.

Consent was obtained from people appropriately before providing care and treatment. We found that people and their representatives completed consent forms.

Staff completed Mental Capacity Act 2005 training.
