Our view of the service

St Anne's Care Home is a domiciliary care service providing a regulated activity of personal care. The service was providing care and support to people in their own homes. CQC only inspects where people receive personal care. This is help with tasks related to personal hygiene and eating. Where they do, we also consider any wider social care provided. At the time of this inspection, there were 3 people using the service and receiving personal care.

This is the first inspection of this service. The inspection was carried out between3 December and 10 December 2025.

We expect health and social care providers to guarantee autistic people and people with a learning disability the choices, dignity, independence and good access to local communities that most people take for granted. Right support, right care, right culture is the statutory guidance which supports CQC to make assessments and judgements about services providing support to people with a learning disability and/or autistic people. We considered this guidance as there were people using the service who have a learning disability and or who are autistic.

People were involved in their care and consulted about what they wanted to do and achieve. Staff were kind and caring, treating people with dignity and respect. The provider had robust recruitment processes in place. Care plans were person centred and contained enough information to inform staff of people’s needs. People received their medicines as prescribed. The management team and provider had oversight of the service, monitoring the quality and safety of care and driving improvement where needed.
