Well-led
The service demonstrated strong leadership, a positive and inclusive culture, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care. Staff felt valued and supported, with effective communication, strong teamwork, and opportunities to contribute to service improvements. Governance arrangements were established, with oversight of risks, incidents, complaints, and performance, supported by good engagement with staff and external stakeholders.
However, as a recently re-registered provider, key governance processes were not yet fully embedded. Audit programmes had not commenced, appraisal and supervision records were incomplete, the Freedom to Speak Up process required further development, and errors within policies highlighted weaknesses in quality assurance.
During this assessment, we found breaches of regulation in safe care and treatment and governance.
