Kindness, compassion and dignity
The service always treated people with kindness, empathy and compassion and respected their privacy and dignity. Arrangements were in place to promote people's privacy.
Treating people as individuals
The service treated people as individuals and made sure people’s care, support and treatment met people’s needs and preferences. The assessment process considered people’s strengths, abilities, aspirations, culture and unique backgrounds and identified people’s protected characteristics.
Independence, choice and control
People who attended Sculpted By Doctors had complete choice over using the service. The service advertised treatments and displayed feedback (unverified) on the site that reflected people’s experiences of the different procedures and the outcomes.
Responding to people’s immediate needs
The provider listened to and understood people’s needs, views and wishes. They responded to people’s needs in the moment and acted to minimise any discomfort, concern or distress. Within 24 hours of a procedure, people were asked to give feedback about the effects of treatment and also share any experiences of discomfort. A 24 hour phone line was also provided in cases where advice is required.
Workforce wellbeing and enablement
Sculpted by Doctors is an independent health service. Services are provided by an individual Doctor. This quality statement is not relevant for this service.
