During an assessment under our new approach
We undertook a follow-up, on-site inspection on 22 January 2026. This was carried out to review the actions taken by the registered provider to improve the quality of care and to assess whether the practice was meeting legal requirements.
We had previously undertaken an announced, on-site inspection of Ealing Dental Care on 31 July 2025. We had found the registered provider was not providing safe or well-led care and was in breach of regulations 15 Premises and equipment, and 17 Good governance of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014.
We carried out an on-site, follow-up inspection on 16 October 2025 to assess regulation 15 Premises and equipment only. We found the provider had made sufficient improvements and was meeting the regulation.
We carried out a second on-site,follow-up inspection on 22 January 2026 to assess regulation 17 Good governance.
During our follow-up inspection, we found the practice had met regulations.
The practice had improved systems to identify and manage risks, including infection prevention and control.
Recruitment procedures reflected current legislation and there was effective leadership and a culture of continuous improvement.
Complaints were managed effectively.
Ealing Dental Care is in the London Borough of Ealing and provides NHS and private dental care and treatment for adults and children.
There was step-free access to the practice and car parking spaces, including dedicated parking for disabled people, were available near the practice in a multi-storey car park.
The practice had 3 treatment rooms.During the inspection we spoke with 1 dentist who was the provider, and the practice manager.
