Our view of the service
We undertook a focussed follow-up on-site inspection on 16 October 2025. This was carried out to review the actions taken by the registered provider to improve the quality of care and to assess whether the practice was meeting legal requirements.
We had previously undertaken an announced, on-site inspection of Ealing Dental Care on 31 July 2025. We had found the registered provider was not providing safe or well-led care and was in breach of Regulation 15, Equipment and premises and Regulation 17, Good governance of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014.
During our follow-up inspection, we assessed the actions taken by the provider in relation to the Regulation 15 breach only, and found the practice was now meeting this regulation. We will return at a later date to assess the actions taken by the provider in relation to the Regulation 17 breach.
The practice had implemented and were in the process of embedding effective systems to identify and manage risks including fire safety, and electrical and radiographic equipment maintenance.
Staff had the skills, knowledge and experience to carry out their roles
Staff provided care and treatment in line with current guidance. They treated patients with dignity and respect and ensured access to care, support, and treatment when required.
Ealing Dental Care is in the London Borough of Ealing and provides NHS and private dental care and treatment for adults and children.
The practice had 3 treatment rooms. During the inspection we spoke with the principal dentist and the practice manager.
