Our view of the service
We carried out this announced, focused, on-site inspection on 31 July 2025.
We found the practice had not met all regulations.
The practice did not always have effective systems to identify and manage risks, including legionella, fire safety and electrical safety.
Recruitment procedures reflected current legislation however they were not regularly followed.
Leadership was not always effective, and the culture of continuous improvement required improvement.
Complaints were not always manged effectively.
Ealing Dental Care is in the London Borough of Ealing and provides NHS and private dental care and treatment for adults and children.
There was step-free access to the practice.
The practice had 3 treatment rooms. At the time of our inspection, there was a total of 14 staff, of which there were 7 dentists, 5 dental nurses and 2 receptionists. We gathered feedback from staff and spoke to a range of staff during our inspection, including 2 dentists, 2 dental nurses, and 1 receptionist.
