Our view of the service

Date of assessment: 9 September 2025.

Cabrini House 3 is a 'care home' providing accommodation and support for people with learning difficulties and or autism. There were 8 people living at the home at the time of the inspection. People in care homes receive accommodation and nursing or personal care as a single package under one contractual agreement. Cabrini House 3 is a care home without nursing care. CQC regulates both the premises, and the care provided, and both were looked at during this inspection.

The assessment was carried out because of the length of time since our last rating. The last rating for this service was Good (4th January 2019).

We expect health and social care providers to guarantee people with a learning disability and autistic people respect, equality, dignity, choices and independence and good access to local communities that most people take for granted. ‘Right support, right care, right culture’ is the guidance CQC follows to make assessments and judgements about services supporting people with a learning disability and autistic people and providers must have regard to it. The provider was meeting the principles of Right support, right care, right culture.

We spoke with the registered manager and 2 care staff. We found people were protected from risk of abuse and risks to people were managed well. Risks to people had been assessed to ensure their needs were safely met. People received their medicines safely and as prescribed. Staff were trained in areas specifically related to peoples care needs and they received regular supervision from the registered manager. Staff told us the service was well managed, and they received good support from the registered manager.
