Our view of the service

This was the first time we inspected the children and young people service.

We found one breach of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014, in relation to Regulation 12: Safe care and treatment.

People's experience of this service

We were unable to speak to any children or young people during our inspection. However, from the files we reviewed we were able to see that patients could ask questions during consultations and discuss their concerns. Patients were also given alternative options to surgery.
