Equity in experiences and outcomes
Staff and leaders actively listened to information about people who are most likely to experience inequality in experience or outcomes, and tailored their care, support, and treatment in response to this. Training records showed there was compliance in completing training. We spoke with staff who told us, "Things we do really well here is have a person-centred approach. We are so supportive to people’s individual needs and their history, our approach to people is different and varied, which is how person-centred care should look” and "What I love about here and what we do best is open a space and opportunity for growth and support people to grow. We are person-centred and empower people to be as independent as possible. We develop people’s skills so they can grow personally. It’s wonderful to see people grow and become more confident. Independent living is very rewarding, seeing a person ready to live independent again is wonderful.”
