Staff and leaders understood people’s individual needs and delivered care that recognised diversity and reduced inequality. Care was personalised and staff adapted communication and support to meet their needs, including for people who were non-verbal.

People were supported to access activities and opportunities that reflected their preferences. One relative shared, “They go to a day centre; do cooking, art and games, swimming and horse-riding.” This showed people were supported to participate in activities that were important to them.

The provider worked closely with families and professionals to ensure care remained responsive. Staff were described as engaged and proactive in supporting positive outcomes, reflecting a commitment to person-centred care.
