Urgent and Emergency Care had a full assessment between 17th and 18th December 2024. We undertook another site visit on 8th January 2025 to follow up the concerns we found on 17th and 18th December 2024 and, due to ongoing concerns we, visited again on 10th March 2025. Caring was rated Requires Improvement.

Medical care including care of older people was assessed in December 2024. Following our assessment the Caring key question was rated Good.

Children and Young People Services were assessed for the first time on the 26th November 2024. Following our assessment the Caring key question was rated Requires Improvement.

Maternity services at Basildon Hospital were last assessed on the March July 2024. Following our assessment Caring key question was rated Requires improvement.

Surgery was last assessed in July, August and September of 2021. Caring key question for this service was rated good.
