Condition of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity
a. The registered provider must not accept any new packages of care without the prior written agreement of the Care Quality Commission. New packages of care includes individuals who have previously received personal care from Geocare Services Limited, any respite care packages and any existing service users who are discharged from hospital or any other care setting and return home.
b. By 9:00am on 1 May 2026, the registered provider must submit to the Care Quality Commission copies of current care plans for service users A, B, C, D, E and F.
These care plans must:
(i) reflect each service user’s current assessed needs and associated risks;
(ii) include clear, person-specific guidance for staff on how to safely manage those risks, including (where applicable) diabetes, epilepsy, nutrition and hydration, choking/aspiration, skin integrity, catheter care, medicines and oxygen use; and
(iii) demonstrate evidence of recent review.
c. By 9:00am on 1 May 2026, the registered provider must submit to the Care Quality Commission a written action plan setting out the arrangements in place to ensure that all staff currently employed and engaged in regulated activity receive training appropriate to their roles.
The action plan must include:
(i) clear timescales for the completion of all required training; and
(ii) the measures the provider will use to assess, monitor and assure staff competency and understanding following completion of training.
Terms of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity
The registered provider must not provide Personal care in a specialist service to people whose presenting need for care or support is as a direct result of the person’s learning disability and or autism at or from Geocare Services Limited.
