During an assessment under our new approach
We carried out this announced, on-site inspection on 28 July 2026.
We found the practice had not met all regulations.
The practice did not have effective systems to identify and manage risks including fire safety, sharps safety and medical emergencies.
Recruitment policies reflected current legislation; however, these were not consistently followed.
The leadership and oversight for the day-to-day management of the service needed improvement.
Neem Dental Clinic is in the London Borough of Harrow and provides private dental care and treatment for adults and children.
There was step-free access to the practice and car parking spaces available, including dedicated parking for disabled people, near the practice.
The practice had 2 treatment rooms. At the time of our inspection, there was a total of 13 staff, of which there were 6 dentists, 5 dental nurses, 1 dental hygienist, and the receptionist. We gathered feedback from staff and spoke to a range of staff during our inspection, including 2 dentists, one of whom was the principal, 1 dental nurse and the receptionist who was also a qualified dental nurse.
The service provides cosmetic treatments, some of which are not in scope of CQC regulation and are not covered in our inspection.
The provider was not complying with Regulation 12, Safe care and treatment and Regulation 17, Good governance. Full details of the regulations the provider was not meeting are within the inspection report.
We have asked the provider for an action plan in response to the concerns found at this inspection.
