Our view of the service

Date of assessment: 4 – 6 November 2025.

This service is a domiciliary care agency. It provides personal care to people living in their own homes. The service is also registered to provide care in supported living settings. They had not started operating any supported living settings. The service was registered to provide support to people with a learning disability. We expect health and social care providers to guarantee people with a learning disability and autistic people respect, equality, dignity, choices and independence and good access to local communities that most people take for granted. ‘Right support, right care, right culture’ is the guidance CQC follows to make assessments and judgements about services supporting people with a learning disability and autistic people and providers must have regard to it.

At the time of our assessment, 3 people were using the service. No one had a learning disability.

The service was registered with CQC on 13 August 2020. This was the first assessment of the service.

People using the service were cared for in a safe way. Risks to their safety and wellbeing had been assessed and planned for. There were enough suitable staff who arrived on time and provided good quality care.

Managers met with people and their relatives to assess their needs and create care plans. People were asked for their views. Staff undertook a range of training to help them understand people’s needs and evidence-based care. Staff felt well supported and had opportunities to meet with their manager.

People were supported to do things for themselves when they wanted. Staff supported people to attend appointments and access other services when needed. People’s individual needs were met.

The provider had effective systems for monitoring and improving the quality of the service. People were able to contribute their views and had opportunities to speak with the managers.
