During an assessment under our new approach
We carried out this announced off-site inspection on 21 August 2026.
Where we carry out an off-site inspection, we undertake a detailed review of the practice risk assessments, policies, staff records and other relevant documents. We gather feedback from patients, staff and stakeholders (where relevant). We carry out a remote visual inspection of the premises and have discussions with staff.
We found the practice had met regulations.
The practice had effective systems to identify and manage risks, including infection prevention and control.
Staff had the skills, knowledge and experience to carry out their roles.
Recruitment procedures reflected current legislation and there was effective leadership and a culture of continuous improvement.
Staff provided care and treatment in line with current guidance. They treated patients with dignity and respect and ensured access to care, support, and treatment when required.
Tooth Booth Swanley is part of Mydentist, a dental group provider. The practice is in Swanley, Kent and provides NHS and private dental care and treatment for adults and children.
There was step-free access to the practice. Car parking spaces were available in the local area, and the practice was located close to transport links.
The practice had 2 treatment rooms. At the time of our inspection, there was a total of 9 staff. We gathered feedback from staff and spoke to a range of staff during our inspection, including 1 dentist, 1 dental nurse, 1 receptionist and the new practice manager who was being supported by an experienced buddy manager. Two of the group’s Regional Regulatory Officers were also at the inspection, supporting the team.
