Our view of the service

We inspected My Recovery Tameside on 16 and 17 June 2026 and we looked at all 33 quality statements.

My Recovery Tameside was registered with CQC in July 2020 for the regulated activity treatment of disease, disorder or injury. The regulated activity is provided by Change, Grow, Live and includes specialist community substance misuse services including substitute prescribing and recovery coordination, delivered from 2 sites at Ashton-under-Lyne and Hyde in Tameside, Greater Manchester.

During the inspection we visited both sites and toured the premises, spoke with 10 people using the service, interviewed the registered manager and 11 other staff members including recovery coordinators, team leaders, registered nurses and the service’s psychiatrist. We reviewed 13 sets of care records and 30 prescription records. We observed a daily risk management meeting, 2 multidisciplinary team meetings and a recovery group session. We also reviewed records relating to the management of the service.

At the last inspection this location was rated good. At this inspection the rating has remained good and we identified no breaches of regulation.
