Communication between the service and other healthcare teams was open and effective.
The registered manager and leadership team ensured staff understood people’s immediate needs and preferences.
Planning for the future

The registered manager recognised the need to improve the means by which the service broached conversations with people and their relatives regarding their care when they came to the end of their lives. The registered manager was responsive to feedback and took positive action in this regard during the inspection.
