All Inspections

During an assessment under our new approach

We carried out this announced on-site inspection on 14 July 2026.

We found the practice had met regulations.

The practice had effective systems to identify and manage risks, including infection prevention and control.

Staff had the skills, knowledge and experience to carry out their roles.

Recruitment procedures reflected current legislation and there was effective leadership and a culture of continuous improvement.

Staff provided care and treatment in line with current guidance. They treated patients with dignity and respect and ensured access to care, support, and treatment when required.

Triangle Dental Clinic is part of Colosseum, a dental group provider. The practice is in Kingston Upon Thames and provides NHS and private dental care and treatment for adults and children.

There was step-free access to the practice and on-street parking was available in the local area, including dedicated parking for disabled people.

The practice had 6 treatment rooms. At the time of our inspection, there was a total of 25 staff. We gathered feedback from staff and spoke to a range of staff during our inspection, including 2 dentists, 1 dental nurses, and the practice manager. One of the group’s Clinical Quality Managers was at the practice, supporting the team.

The service provides cosmetic treatments, some of which are not in scope of CQC regulation and are not covered in our inspection.

During a routine inspection

During our inspection we spoke with five people who use the service, the practice manager, a dental manager and a dental nurse. People told us that the dental surgery was clean; they were treated in privacy and felt respected by staff. One patient told us that they had used the surgery for several years and had moved to another area but still preferred to use the practice due to the care they were given. People told us that they had been involved in decisions relating to their care and treatment planning and were given all the necessary information to reach a decision. Treatment costs were discussed with them beforehand.

We found that people received treatment in a clean environment because all the required infection control procedures were adhered to.

The provider had a robust recruitment policy and so people were cared for by staff who had the appropriate clearance.

The provider had a good system in place to record and follow up any complaints and people confirmed that they were aware of the complaints policy.
