Our view of the service
We carried out this assessment between 8 and 19 May 2026. Beersheba Social Care Services Limited is a care at home agency that provides personal care to people living in their own homes. CQC only inspects where people are receiving the regulated activity personal care. This is help with tasks related to personal hygiene and eating. Where they do, we consider any wider social care provided.
At the time of this inspection 3 people were receiving support with personal care. This was the first inspection since this service registered with CQC. This service had a registered manager in place.
The service provided care that was safe, effective and centred around people’s individual needs. There were systems in place to monitor care delivery and promote people’s safety. Risks were assessed and addressed in care plans. Care was planned in line with people’s needs and was reviewed when required to ensure it remained appropriate. Staff were trained to be effective in their roles. Staff understood their roles and responsibilities and knew how to escalate concerns. They were supported through regular support and supervisions. The registered manager monitored staff performance through spot checks and observation. They maintained regular contact and communication with staff which helped to promote consistency in how care was delivered.
The registered manager involved other healthcare services where required to ensure people’s needs were met. They worked in partnership with other services to develop and improve the service.
The provider demonstrated a commitment to delivering good quality care. they had systems and processes to monitor the service.
People's experience of this service
People and their relatives were generally positive about the service. They described care as reliable, respectful and responsive. They told us staff supported them to maintain their independence and made sure care was centred around their choices and preferences. People said staff took time to understand how they wanted things done and adapted their approach to meet their needs.
People described staff as kind, patient and reassuring. They told us staff were attentive and responsive, noticing when they were uncomfortable or anxious and acting quickly to provide support. One person said staff were “Very careful and do things thoroughly” and had quickly learnt how to support them in the way they preferred. People felt staff listened to them and understood how they communicated, which helped to build trusting relationships.
Continuity of care was valued by people, with regular staff who knew them well. People said this meant staff understood their routines, preferences and needs. One person told us, “We have established a routine of how I like things done and it’s working.”
People felt respected in their own homes and said staff maintained their privacy and dignity, particularly when they had visitors. They told us staff went “The extra mile” and were always “Positive and reassuring,” with nothing being too much trouble.
People and relatives felt able to raise concerns or provide feedback and said these were responded to promptly. One person told us they knew who to contact and felt issues were resolved quickly. Care planning was carried out with people, ensuring their views were reflected in how care was delivered.
