During an assessment under our new approach
Date of assessment: 22 May 2026 to 26 June 2026. This was the first assessment of MMT Healthcare Limited.
MMT Healthcare Limited is a domiciliary care agency and supported living service providing personal care and support to adults living in their own homes. At the time of our assessment, 14 people were receiving support with personal care.
The provider advised that people using the supported living service were not receiving a regulated activity. Staff provided prompting and general support only and did not deliver personal care. As a result, this part of the service did not fall within CQC's regulatory remit. This assessment therefore focused on the domiciliary care agency element of the service, where people were receiving the regulated activity of personal care.
During this assessment, we found people received safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led support. People and their relatives consistently spoke positively about the care provided and told us staff were kind, respectful and responsive to their needs. Care was planned and delivered in a person-centred way, with people involved in decisions about their care and support.
Staff received training and support to carry out their roles and demonstrated a good understanding of people's individual needs, preferences and goals. People benefited from consistent support from staff who knew them well. We saw evidence of effective partnership working with families, healthcare professionals and other agencies to help ensure people received coordinated care and support.
Leaders promoted a positive culture focused on independence, dignity, choice and achieving positive outcomes for people. Systems were in place to monitor the quality and safety of the service and leaders demonstrated a commitment to learning and continuous improvement.
We identified some inconsistencies within electronic medication administration records (eMARs), where medication instructions did not always fully reflect prescribed directions. Management acknowledged this and provided assurances that a full review of records would be completed.
Overall, people received personalised care and support that reflected their individual needs and aspirations and helped them maintain their independence and wellbeing.
