The service promoted people’s independence, so people knew their rights and had choice and control over their own care, treatment and wellbeing. People were supported to maintain their independence, make choices, and have control over their care. People were actively involved in decisions about their care, and where appropriate, relatives and healthcare professionals were consulted, with their input valued and respected.
