Independence, choice and control
The provider promoted people’s independence, so people knew their rights and had choice and control over their own care, treatment and wellbeing.
People provided positive feedback about how staff supported their independence and supported them to have choice and control over their own care. One person’s relative said, “[Person’s] mobility is not good, they use a walking frame and stair lift, the staff walk with them and make them feel safe.” Another person’s relative said, “They [staff] are good at encouraging [family member] they jolly them along, they’re very good.”
