We undertook a follow-up on-site inspection on 28 July 2026. This was carried out to review the actions taken by the registered provider to improve the quality of care and to assess whether the practice was meeting legal requirements.
We had previously undertaken an announced on-site inspection of Broadway Dental Centre on 23 April 2026. We had found the registered provider was not providing well-led care and was in breach of regulation 17 Good Governance of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014.
During our follow-up inspection, we found the practice had met regulations.
Staff had the skills, knowledge and experience to carry out their roles.
Recruitment procedures reflected current legislation and there was effective leadership and a culture of continuous improvement.
During our previous inspections, which took place on 5 February 2026 and 23 April 2026, we were unable to assess whether the practice had safe and effective staffing arrangements, or whether the practice was caring, effective and responsive. This was because the practice did not have a consistent staffing structure in place at the time of those inspections. We reviewed these areas at the inspection on 28 July 2026.
Staff provided care and treatment in line with current guidance. They treated patients with dignity and respect and ensured access to care, support, and treatment when required.
The practice had effective systems to identify and manage risks, including infection prevention and control.
The practice is in the London Borough of Wandsworth and provides NHS and private dental care and treatment for adults and children.
There was step-free access to the practice and car parking spaces, including dedicated parking for disabled people, were available near the practice.
The practice had 3 treatment rooms.During the inspection we spoke with 1 dentist, 1 dental nurse, 1 receptionist and the practice manager.
