During an assessment under our new approach
We carried out this announced on-site inspection on 31 March 2026.
We found the practice had met regulations.
The practice had effective systems to identify and manage risks, including infection prevention and control.
Staff had the skills, knowledge and experience to carry out their roles.
There was effective leadership and a culture of continuous improvement. The practice should review the recruitment procedures to ensure complete records are held for all staff.
Staff provided care and treatment in line with current guidance. They treated patients with dignity and respect and ensured access to care, support, and treatment when required.
Ridge Road Dental Practice is known locally as Infinity Dental Clinic. The practice is in Leeds and provides NHS and private dental care and treatment for adults and children. The provider has a second dental practice in Harrogate.
There was step-free access to the practice, however the toilet is not accessible to wheelchair users. On-street car parking was available, outside the practice.
The practice had 7 treatment rooms. At the time of our inspection, there was a total of 27 staff, of which there were 6 dentists, 8 dental nurses including a clinical manager and a trainee, 2 dental therapists, 8 treatment coordinators/receptionists, 1 social media and marketing staff member and the practice manager. We gathered feedback from staff and spoke to a range of staff during our inspection, including 3 dentists, 4 dental nurses, 1 dental therapist, treatment coordinators and the practice manager.
