Date of Assessment: 10 and 12 March 2026. Four Acre Health Centre is a GP practice which offers a range of primary medical services from its location at Burnage Avenue, Clockface, St. Helens, WA9 4QB. The practice delivers services to approximately 7,800 patients under a contract held with NHS England. Information published by the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities shows that deprivation within the practice population group is in the 2nd decile (2 of 10). The lower the decile, the more deprived the practice population is relative to others. The ethnic make-up of the practice area is 96.7% White, 1.1% Asian, 1% Mixed, 0.6% Black and 0.5% Other ethnicity.
We carried out this assessment to follow up on breaches of regulation made at the last assessment. We assessed all the quality statements for the key questions of responsive and well-led which had previously been rated requires improvement.
Since the last assessment, the practice had made improvements and is no longer in breach of regulations.
