During a routine inspection
Everybody we spoke with who used the service was complimentary about the care provided. They told us that care staff were, "compassionate and professional," and "very efficient and gentle." Staff told us that they felt supported by the manager and senior staff and that they had sufficient training to perform their role.
Records showed that people had their care needs assessed and care was planned using this assessment. Risks were identified and actions put in place to mitigate any risk identified.
There were appropriate recruitment and selection procedures in place and the legal requirement for checks on staff were completed before they were employed.
